@RadigundSoul we usually put the cloth on the tree and then smash the bottle
if you do this with an old expensive wine, you can throw it away, or maybe let it stand open for a day, untill it the sediment has sunk again.
did this just as he shows on the video and it worked just fine. you don’t need to hit it very hard, it just needs to be even across the bottom of the bottle and firm. be patient.

@RadigundSoul Shouldn’t you wrap the bottom of the bottle with the towel? Or the results will end up like RadigundSould said… well I guess it makes sense to wrap the towel around the bottle, when it shatters you don’t want to get cut.
