Yogendra174 posted a photo: Same setup as the earlier two shots.. but bit more processing to clean up the imperfections on the glass (which i should have cleaned with a cloth.. i could have saved some time in GIMP) This one is my personal fav out of the three uploaded! Diluted Coffee-in-water looks like red wine :D isn’t it

Innards: Under the Aspic

March 13th, 2010

Sifu Renka posted a photo: Foie Gras & Chicken Liver Parfait Absolutely beautiful. Silken, thick whip of flavourful liver (make no mistake, it is the dominant ingredient and flavour here), creamy rich foie mingles with it’s lesser respected but just as prominent cousin in this unctuous vessel. The only thing making a thick smear on the accompany brioche toasts (can anything be more luxurious??) better were the chunks cool Madeira gelée (what a great pairing of the slightly smokey wine with the rich parfait) – each gelatinous bit punctuating the heavy flavours of the parfait.

Creamy

Sifu Renka posted a photo: This was the first toast (the one I "graciously" shared with my dining companion) with the unctuous Foie Gras & Chicken Liver Parfait . The second toast (for me) had a more genours (read gluttonous) slather likened to a scoop. :) Ah, glorious foie.
